Continuing to advance knowledge in the field of neurobiological research

Current research is focused on finding the cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

Solomon Park Research Institute is a non-profit foundation specializing in neurobiological research. The institute was founded and incorporated in 1985.  Initial funding for the Institute was provided by the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of America (ALSSOA) and subsequent research has focused largely on this disease.

The Institute has also received a grant from the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA) and most recently has received a bequest from the Wesley and Frances Johnson estate for conducting research into ALS.  This bequest has allowed us to aggressively pursue our research into ALS by expanding the institute into new laboratory space and purchasing much needed equipment for this research.
