Patrick A. Clapshaw, Ph.D. received his Bachelors degree in Zoology from the University of Washington and his Ph.D. in Neurochemistry from the University of Colorado where he also taught Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. From 1976 to 1981, Dr. Clapshaw was a principal investigator at the Max Planck Institute in Tuebingen, Germany investigating the relationship to multiple sclerosis of certain enzymes. Dr. Clapshaw is the founding Director of the Solomon Park Research Laboratories. In addition, Dr. Clapshaw is a member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry, the National Committee for Clinical Laborartory Standards, the International Society of Neurochemistry, and the American Society of Neurochemistry.
