Our Director - Dr. Patric A. Clapshaw |
|
Patric A. Clapshaw, Ph.D. received his Bachelors degree in Zoology from the University of Washington and his Ph.D. in Neurochemistry from the University of Colorado where he also taught Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. From 1976 to 1981, Dr. Clapshaw was a principal investigator at the Max Planck Institute in Tuebingen, Germany investigating the relationship to multiple sclerosis of certain enzymes.

Our Researcher - Kanan Lathia |

Kanan Lathia received her B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Gujarat in India in 1995. She then pursued her post graduate degree as a Medical Laboratory technician attending the KM School of Medicine and Research. After completing her post graduate degree, Kanan Lathia spent 2 years as a Medical Laboratory Technician at the Gujarat Research & Medical Institution. In 1999-2000, Kanan Lathia recieved her M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Oregon Health and Science University. In 2001, Kanan Lathia joined Solomon Park Research Institute.

Our Researcher - Zhi Yan, M.D., M.S. |

In 1986, Zhi (Jean) Yan recieved her M.D. from the Shandong University School of Medicine in China, and her M.S. in Hematology from the same institution. Dr. Yan spent 5 years as a physician in the Jinan Children's Hospital and seven years as a Research specialist at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2001-2002, Dr. Yan was a Research Associate Scientist with the DNAX Research Institute of Molecular & Cellular Bio Inc. Division of Schering-Plough in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Yan joined Solomon Park Research Institute in 2003.

Our Office Manager - Sheila Dunagan

Sheila Dunagan provides accounting and administrative support to the institute. In addition, she promotes and co-ordinates Institute events, researches possible grant opportunities and prepares the financial reports for the monthly Board meetings. |
