Expiration:

Serum when stored at ideal temperature of -75° C, per industry standard, is stable for 2+ years from date of manufacture. Serum stored at 4-8°C remains viable up to 7 days. See Product details for specified expiration date.

Abnormal Serum Sample material is provided. All levels contain 1 ML of human serum per vial. The samples can be used immediately or stored frozen at -70° Centigrade until used.

While donors appeared healthy and serum was non-reactive for HIV 1&2, HBsAg, and HCV antibodies, it is impossible to ensure that all specimens are free of these agents or others and the material should be used with the appropriate precautions. For in vitro diagnostic use only
Thaw vials and mix gently to assure homogeneity before pipetting or transferring. Care should be taken to mix to include any serum associated with the sample’s stopper area. The serum samples can be used directly as controls or calibrators; or diluted with physiological saline to produce a standard curve.
