Solomon Park Laboratories provides scientists and researchers with the highest quality human whole blood samples carefully selected from our vast donor database. We can provide fresh whole blood from our “Same Day Whole Blood Acquisition Service,” We have a wide variety of frozen whole blood samples, both healthy and disease-state samples, in our biorepository.

The fresh whole blood is shipped on gel packs. At the same time, the frozen samples are stored and shipped via our SPRL-StoTrac™ service (cryogenic storage and shipping). This ensures that your samples remain at a constant temperature throughout the shipping process, arriving in the same condition that they left our donor center in.

If we don’t have it, we will source it.

At Solomon Park, we pride ourselves in our ability to source whole blood samples from a wide variety of donors, both healthy and those with chronic conditions.

Should you wish to study the vitamin D levels in pregnant women versus non-pregnant women of a certain age, we will source these donors and provide you with the necessary blood samples so that you can bring your research study to a successful conclusion.

An extremely relevant and current research topic is the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2 and the effects of the resulting disease, COVID-19, on people of different ages, those with comorbidities like diabetes, obesity, coronary disease, and pulmonary disease, and those without any comorbidities.

The international scientific research community has a long way to go before we understand this coronavirus’s behavior. Therefore, in order to supply the research community with the right whole blood samples, we need to increase our donor database.

Contact us or look at our donor eligibility page if you have recovered from the COVID-19 illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Participating in medical research on the coronavirus is the right thing to do.

Whole Blood Samples as Quality Control Materials

Using whole blood samples as a quality control measure is vital to ensure that a hematology laboratory’s test results and measurements are accurate. Inaccurate clinical test results will result in the incorrect diagnosis and treatment of patients by their medical professionals.

Solomon Park Research Labs takes utmost care in making sure that the whole blood samples that we send out to hematology laboratories are of the highest quality. And these control materials will result in calibrated instruments that will produce accurate clinical test results; thereby, fulfilling our motto of improving human health.
