EuroMedLab Worldlab

Overview

The IFCC-EFLM EuroMedLab-WorldLab is a prestigious international congress that combines the 25th International Congress of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC WorldLab), the 25th European Congress of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM EuroMedLab), and the 55th Annual Congress of the Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology (SIBioC). This collaborative event aims to bring together leading experts, researchers, and professionals in the field of clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and discuss the latest advancements in diagnostics, technologies, and methodologies.

The event will take place from May 21-25, 2023, at the Rome Convention Centre (The Cloud) in Rome, Italy.

This congress will utilize a hybrid format, combining in-person and virtual elements. The Scientific Program Committee has designed an outstanding multidisciplinary agenda that encompasses a wide array of significant topics, including fundamental principles, cutting-edge diagnostics, and methodologies in laboratory medicine. The schedule will include lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, and top-tier educational workshops. Esteemed international speakers and influential thought leaders will share insights on healthcare, the latest diagnostic technologies, scientific breakthroughs, and current challenges.

Analyte Control

Analyte Control & Quality Assurance Tool

Cloud-Based Quality Monitoring & Reporting Software (CQM) offers a user-friendly web interface that simplifies quality control and assurance in laboratory settings. The software allows for unlimited controls, analytes, and linearity while providing bias plot reports and commutable quality measures. CQM can be set up within minutes and can function as a standalone quality control application or be integrated with various controls for cross-platform compatibility.

Laboratory Quality

Importance of Laboratory Quality Control

Laboratory quality control protocols outline the process of detecting analytical errors in medical laboratories, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of test results for optimal patient care. Inaccurate test results can lead to misdiagnosis, inappropriate treatment, increased costs, and potentially severe consequences for patients. Therefore, it is crucial for laboratories to provide accurate and reliable test results.

Why choose laboratory quality control from Solomon Park?

Our experts recommend using a single multi-analyte commutable control to consolidate your lab’s existing controls, eliminating the need for individual quality control kits for each instrument or system.

Solomon Park’s pooled sera, used in quality control test kits, assess laboratory instrument and system performance. We send our pooled sera to a reference lab for benchmarking before providing it to our clients. These controls help determine accuracy and precision throughout the laboratory and across all systems and instruments.

Quality Control Team

Benefits of our pooled human sera quality control kits include

Analyte levels

Reduced risk of infection, as our pooled sera is tested for infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis.

Validation of instrument

Validation of instrument stability as a true third-party control.

Reduced risk of infection

Reduced risk of infection, as our pooled sera is tested for infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis.

Consistent monitoring

Consistent, long-term supply of quality control materials due to Solomon Park's manufacturing capacity, with stable materials enabling long-term quality control monitoring.

Commutable products

Commutable products that mimic human patient clinical samples, providing a benchmark for accurate test results, as instrument and reagent manufacturers may assign their own control values, leading to large standard deviations and unrealistic wide ranges.

Analyte levels

Reduced risk of infection, as our pooled sera is tested for infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis.

Solomon Park enables independent medical laboratories to produce genuine, independent, multi-method, and multi-analyzer data through our access to a unique database.
